Reagan Chauff
Reagan first became a licensed massage therapist in February of 2014. She graduated at the top of her class from Southeastern College in St. Petersburg, FL. The curriculum was 1250 hours (the state of Colorado requires 650). Since graduating, Reagan has furthered her education by taking numerous courses that include but are not limited to:
Structural Integration: this technique aims to improve physical function and relieve pain by manipulating the body’s fascia or connective tissue through deep work and stretching- ultimately providing longer results and correction of posture.
Neuromuscular Therapy: an advanced form of therapy that targets the nervous and muscular systems to alleviate pain and body dysfunction. NMT aims to address the root cause of pain and discomfort by releasing trigger points and applying deep pressure.
Deep Tissue: type of massage that uses a slow, firm pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to release chronic muscle tension.
Myofascial Release: technique that aims to release tension and restrictions in the fascia, leading to a reduction in muscle pain/tightness, improvement in range of motion and flexibility, and enhance your posture and alignment.
Sports Massage: focuses on athletes or athletic individuals aimed to enhance performance. Sports massage can be performed before an event to stimulate muscles and improve range of motion, during training to reduce recovery time, or after an event to prevent muscle tightness. Sports massage can also help prevent injury and recover from injury.
Geriatric Massage: specialized form of massage designed for older adults, focusing on specific areas of pain such as joints, the spine, and feet and hands. Geriatric massage aims to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage, increase range of motion, reduce pain, and stimulate the immune system.
Prenatal Massage: massage for pregnant women at least 12 weeks in gestation that aims to relieve pain in hips, back, feet, and legs.
Lomi Lomi Massage: traditional Hawaiian technique that focuses on deep tissue manipulation and relaxation. Primarily performed using forearms, it is known for its fluid, rhythmic movements that mimic the flow of the ocean.
Reagan combines all of these techniques to create a one of a kind massage that can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their desired pressure or goals in receiving bodywork. Reagan is terrific at formulating a realistic treatment plan for people with numerous conditions and injuries, and provides a massage that is both relaxing and effective.
